The Causeway Coast & Glens, minus the noise.

Local Facebook groups got buried under ads, sales pitches and strangers. So we built a calmer place for the people who actually live here — to ask questions, share what's on, buy and sell, and look out for each other.

Free. No adverts. Run by a small team in Coleraine.

Sound familiar?

You ask the town group for a plumber and get forty replies — half of them adverts. The post about the Christmas market is buried under a car boot sale from Belfast. Someone you've never met slides into your messages selling solar panels.

It wasn't always like this. My Causeway Coast & Glens is a fresh start: only people from around here, a local team keeping it friendly, and nothing trying to sell you anything.

Here's what you can do with it.

Nothing fancy. Just the things a good town noticeboard, a chat at the shop and a phone full of local numbers have always done — in one place.

  1. 01

    Ask a local.

Need a joiner, a dog-sitter or the best chippy in Portstewart? Ask the people who actually live here — not an algorithm, and not someone three counties away.

  2. 02

    See what's on.

Markets, gigs, beach cleans, fundraisers. Every event has the time, the place, a map and a button to say you're going. That's it.

  3. 03

    Buy, sell and give away.

A marketplace for things you can collect down the road. Mark it sold and it disappears the next day. No couriers, no scammers posing as buyers.

  4. 04

    Find local businesses.

The bakery's hours, the plumber's number, the new café's menu — and a way to message them that doesn't involve a call centre.

  5. 05

Talk about the things you care about.

Spaces for walkers, parents, gardeners, surfers and everyone in between. Join the ones you like, ignore the rest.

  6. 06

Hear about it when it matters.

A gentle ping when someone replies, reacts or messages you. You decide what's worth a notification. We'll never send you marketing.

Our promises to you.

We're a local team, not a tech giant. Here's how we run the place — in writing.

  • Every member is checked. Real people with a real link to the area.
  • No cold sales pitches. Strangers can send one message. If you don't reply, that's the end of it.
  • No adverts. Ever. And we never sell your details to anyone.
  • Someone's always looking out. A local team moderates every day, and you can mute, block or report anything.

Run a local business? Your neighbours are here.

Business pages give shops, cafés, trades and services a proper home in the community. Your opening hours (with an “open now” sign that's always right), where to find you, what you sell, your news and offers — and customers can message you directly.

No pay-to-be-seen. No algorithm hiding your posts. Just the people down the road.

Questions you might have.

Is it free?
Yes. Free to join, free to use. No premium tier, no adverts.
Who can join?
Anyone who lives in, works in or has a real connection to the Causeway Coast and Glens. We check every new sign-up — that's how we keep it local.
Do I need to download an app?
No. It works in your browser. On iPhone or Android, add it to your Home Screen and it opens like any other app, with notifications.
Can my business be on it?
Yes. Join as yourself, then ask us to switch on a business page. Add your hours, location, products and updates.
What happens to my information?
We use it to run the community and nothing else. Your email is never shown to other members and we never sell anything to anyone.
Who's behind it?
TCP Amplify, a small team based in Coleraine. We live here too.

Come and say hello to the neighbours.

It takes about two minutes. Bring a photo so people know who they're talking to.
